Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban Get Sentimental During ACM ‘Highway Don’t Care’ Performance

By Shannon Carlin

Tim McGraw, wearing his signature cowboy hat, took center stage for his performance of “Highway Don’t Care” at this year’s ACM Awards.

Standing in front of a screen featuring a never-ending road, McGraw poured his heart out for the bittersweet love song off his latest album, Two Lanes Of Freedom. Taylor Swift, dressed in a black and silver gown,  pulled at the heartstrings as she got at the message of the song, which tells the tale of two lovers torn apart by distance. “I can’t live without you/ I can’t live without you, baby.”

Keith Urban, playing the role of McGraw’s right-hand man, got to show his guitar skills off a bit by taking center stage for a blistering solo.

Faith Hill was a certainly a fan of the performance, though she did admit she couldn’t really say anything bad about her hubby’s song. “He’s my ride home.”
