Afrojack’s latest collaboration with Chris Brown may be blasting in the clubs, but his video shows a different side to the producer and DJ.

Directed by Opslaan Als, the artistic clip begins with two ballet dancers acting out the lyrics. Dressed in black as smoke engulfs them, it’s only the beginning of the creativity. Soon after, Afrojack appears sitting atop a laser-lit throne a’ la Game of Thrones and things don’t end there.

Scantily-clad dancers prance around him as he stares into the distance and commands them with the simple point of a finger. As the lasers encroach on everyone in the Afrojack kingdom one thing is certain – Afrojack gets what he wants. Be it lighting someone on fire, a rapping fish or the prettiest girl in the land, life isn’t so bad for the DJ.

“As Your Friend” is the first single from Afrojack’s debut album due out later this year. In an interview with MTV News, he explained how the track came together with Brown after co-writer Polow da Don first played him the song.

“He jumped on it immediately. I got vocals,” Afrojack said. “I was like, ‘Wow!’ and he killed it completely. He did a part that we already wrote and he did a completely new part. It fits perfectly. It’s like streamline; it’s like a fast car.”
